YWMHA relies on committed volunteers to support players, teams and association programs.
Applying for Coaching Positions
Coaches must meet the requirements below.
New Coach Applicants
Submit a complete coaching application together with a valid Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check.
Applications will only be considered for board approval when all required information has been provided.
Deadline: September 15, 2026Returning Coach Applicants
Returning coaches who did not submit a coaching application last season must submit one this season.
Coaches with an application already on file only need to provide new information, such as an updated CRC/VSC, newly completed courses, suspensions or other relevant changes.

Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Checks
All volunteers require a Criminal Record Check with a Vulnerable Sector Check completed within the last three years.
If YWMHA already has a valid CRC/VSC on file, nothing further is required. Otherwise, email YWMHAPresident@gmail.com to request the volunteer letter needed before applying for the check. The volunteer letter is required before obtaining the CRC/VSC.
Application Confirmation
Coaching applicants will receive an email confirming receipt of their application and will be contacted again after coaching decisions have been approved.
